A storefront rebuilt around speed, clarity, and a confident visual voice.

A storefront rebuilt around speed, clarity, and a confident visual voice.

Vela needed a storefront that felt as considered as its products.

We rethought the product page hierarchy, rebuilt the checkout flow, and shipped a design system that the in-house team now extends on their own.

Challenges

One of the biggest challenges was presenting dense scientific content without overwhelming visitors. Research findings, material specifications, and innovation pipelines had to be organized into a structure that felt intuitive and easy to navigate.

Another challenge was creating a visual language that communicated advanced technology without relying on overly futuristic clichés. The interface had to feel refined, trustworthy, and editorial, while maintaining strong readability across long-form content and research pages.

Final Take

The final product delivered a polished digital experience that positioned Aurora Labs as a forward thinking research company. Through a carefully structured information architecture, restrained motion design, and a clean visual system, the website made complex research approachable while maintaining the authority expected from a scientific organization.
